Regarding course materials, we usually offer a basic handout (that our Organization has developed) to Childcare Providers and Childcare facilities, to help you save on cost. However we do encourage all clients to consider American Heart Association manual(s) or textbook(s), and if you're interest, please let us know! AHA ECC Guidelines Course Materials Criteria Requirement (2005 ECC Guidelines).
Even though we are aligned and authorized to represent the American Heart Association, we are still authorized to issue (NSC) National Safety |
Council certification cards. Mainly because the State of Utah Licensing Department still accepts and approves of the "NSC" as an authorized agency. Plus, the NSC "certification card(s)" is included with your renewal fee. As for American Heart Association "certification card(s)", we half to charge an extra $3.00 per card due to manufacturing fees. So if you are ok with an extra $3.00 fee and you would prefer an American Heart Association certification card, please let us know.

First Aid Textbook
The student workbook for the credentialed Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course. Provides information on how to manage illness and injuries in a child during the first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. Includes four core modules: First Aid Basics, Injuries and Illnesses, Life-Threatening Emergencies and the Chain of Survival, and CPR and AED. Also includes optional modules, such as Use of a Nebulizer, to meet regulations for day-care centers in certain states.
