AHA ECC Guidelines Course Criteria

Each Student & Instructors must have the current appropriate course textbook readily available for use before, during, and after the course. Textbooks are designed for individual use and are an integral part fo the student's education before, during and after the course. Students may reuse their textbooks during renewals until new science guidelines are published.

The 2005 ECC Guidelines have been announced, and new course materials are in the process of being published. The new course materials will be readily available for purchase online starting in mid-February 2006.
The most current edition of the AHA course materials must be used, and there are no exceptions as this is an AHA policy.
